Since 1989 the Adam's Fishing Charters crew has logged more than 25,000 hours of on the water guiding experience. Our friendly experienced guides will show you an outstanding fishing adventure targeting Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish, Lingcod and Searun Cutthroat Trout. We pick our guests up in the heart of Victoria Harbour at 812 Wharf Street. We provide all the bait, tackle and gear and our boats are Transport Canada approved. We accomodate private trips for small groups, families, corporate groups and shared boats are available too. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Often referred to as the best place to stay on the Alaska Highway, the Northern Rockies Lodge is the newest and most impressive hotel in the Liard River (hot springs), Toad River and Muncho Lake region. We are located on Mile 462 of the historic Alaska Highway on the shores of beautiful Muncho Lake. As a remote lodge, we pride ourselves in maintaining a high level of service for our guests in the middle of the untouched wilderness of Muncho Lake. Our facilities include a hotel, dining room and lounge, cabins, lakeshore chalets, RV Park, gas station, picnic areas, sauna, playground, floatplane dock, boat ramp and more. All of our facilities are available for our guests including Wifi. We are proud to be able to provide our guests with most of the modern comforts despite being so remote. The Northern Rockies Lodge operates year round without any government subsidies and we were able to build over the last 3+ decades a self-sufficient village in the wilderness for you: We generate our own power, our own water and sewage systems. In addition to providing overnight accommodations for the Alcan travellers, we are also a popular vacation destination for many guests. Powell River Sportfishing is a locally owned charter service catering to fishing enthusiasts looking for a relaxed, professionally guided day on the water.

Immerse yourself in the traditions of small batch cider making at our farm based cidery. Enjoy the tranquility of our orchard and savour the refreshing cider served by the knowledgeable staff in our tap room. Stay for a pizza or our famous grilled cheese and relax on our covered patio. We are family friendly and welcome well behaved, leashed dogs.

The Silvery Slocan Museum, located in the former Bank of Montreal building on Main Street, has been a fixture in New Denver B.C. for over 100 years. The museum features exhibits about the area's heritage, including its mining, logging and agricultural history, as well as the recently restored Lancet motor launch. Admission is by donation.

This area where underground hot springs meet the ocean is very popular with boaters around Victoria Island.

Electric bike rentals to ride on the Okanagan Rail Trail, or in any direction from Gatzke's Farm Market in Oyama, British Columbia. Winter Hours - starting October 31, 2022 we are open by Appointment Only for Sales. Our rental season will start up again in March 2023!
