Welcome to our Western Red Cedar Post and Beam duplex cabin with 1,200 foot wrap around deck, amazing mountain vista views on 172 acres of Northern BC wilderness. Located approximately 109 kms north of Terrace, BC in the beautiful Nass Valley, home of the Nisga'a Nation. The east end guest cabin boasts 3 private bedrooms with open concept living/dining/kitchen area, 27 ft. vaulted ceilings and access to many trails. An additional 2 bedrooms with 17 ft. vaulted ceilings and a shared bath are available on the second floor of the west end dining cabin. Breakfast is included with your room and lunches and dinners will be provided upon request at an additional cost.

Local trails are great for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. Many trails accessible by quad, ATV and snowmobile. We are on the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. The Fort Nelson Heritage Museum is situated just West of the historic Mile 300 milepost on the World Famous Alaska Highway. The museum is located in Fort Nelson, BC, Canada and is operated by the Fort Nelson Historical Society. Fort Nelson is the gateway to the Northern Rocky Mountains and the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area. Mission Statement: To preserve and share the human, natural, and transportation history of the Fort Nelson area. Housed in 8 buildings, the museum offers countless displays and artifacts. The Vagabond Lodge, is a boutique lodge located at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Golden BC. All rooms are located on the upper level of this 3 story building. There is no elevator just so you are aware. The beautifully decorated rooms all have great views of the majestic Rocky Mountains. All bedrooms have private bathrooms with shower/tub enclosures and all bathrooms have heated floors. Vagabond Lodge does not have air conditioning but for the few days in the mountains where it may be considered hot by some standards, the windows all open to the fresh mountain air. A hearty and healthy breakfast featuring sourdough bread, eggs, pancakes, yogurt, cereals and more is complimentary. Lower level features a pool table, games area with all sorts of board games and access to sauna and outdoor hot tub.
