Higgin's Inn is a spacious well planned facility close to the most popular beach in Powell River. The suites are large former apartments, beautifully appointed, and fully equipped for short or long-term accommodation. Each suite has a full kitchen, dining room, living room private bath and one, two or three bedrooms. We also have our newest addition: A ground-floor accessibility suite with special features in the kitchen and bathroom to make our guests with mobility challenges extra comfortable. Historically, Island Mountain Arts has sought to provide opportunities for the exhibition of professional artists in northern BC, for the benefit of both artists and northern communities. Relative to major urban centres, there have been minimal venues for exhibitions in the north, resulting in limited access to cultural activities for residents of small, isolated, or northern communities. Prior to 1988, Island Mountain Arts occasionally produced professional exhibitions by partnering with venues in Wells such as the Wells-Barkerville School, the Community Hall and the Wells Hotel, to exhibit artwork. With the restoration of the Hill Meat Market building in 1988 and creation of a public gallery, IMA was at last able to provide a secure professional venue for exhibits in Wells.

Our family has been growing delicious blueberries in Chilliwack, British Columbia since 2007. Farming has been apart of our lineage for over 30 years with blueberries as our main focus from the beginning. During the summer months, blueberries are picked fresh daily and frozen to be enjoyed later. We only freeze the best berries, those which we would feel good feeding our own families. With almost 100 acres of blueberries, we are dedicated to growing great tasting berries at an affordable price. Our goal is to grow and produce natural and flavoursome blueberries. We use all-natural and non-toxic products on our blueberries in order to provide our customers with nutritious, fresh and frozen blueberries throughout the year.
