For your adventure you will stay at Deep Creek Lodge in Terrace BC. The Lodge lays in the center of the lower Skeena Valley; close to the Kitsumkalum River surrounded by pristine forests and the extraordinary Coastal Mountains of Northern British Columbia. It is located conveniently just 15 minutes outside the City of Terrace in a quite and exclusive location fully immersed in the nature. Deep Creek Lodge features 4 fully-appointed rooms. Outer Shores Expeditions is a small-ship, niche adventure travel company specializing in multi-day wildlife and cultural sailing expeditions to Haida Gwaii, Vancouver Island, and the Great Bear Rainforest aboard our 70' classic wooden schooner, Passing Cloud. Our small-ship expeditions provide extraordinary and intimate opportunities from April to November, for small groups of six guests to be immersed in the ancient cultures and stunning wildlife of Canadas Pacific Coast. Standing at the base of the ski runs and just steps from the gondola are the Glacier and Mountaineer lodges. This seasonal government-run campground on the ocean offers affordable RV and tent camping in nature with fabulous panoramic seascape views. It features a long sandy beach, bird watching, nature events, a variety of walking trails, including a user-friendly loop trail. It is close to the ferry, airport, downtown Victoria and the Lochside Regional Trail. The campground has 18 beach front RV sites, 5 treed tent trailer sites and 24 treed tent sites, and all campsites are self-contained. Sites are reservable online only, up to 30 days in advance; no first-come first-serve. All sites $25/night; $10 for each additional vehicle. Payable online by Visa or Mastercard.
