Outer Shores Expeditions
Outer Shores Expeditions is a small-ship, niche adventure travel company specializing in multi-day wildlife and cultural sailing expeditions to Haida Gwaii, Vancouver Island, and the Great Bear Rainforest aboard our 70' classic wooden schooner, Passing Cloud. Our small-ship expeditions provide extraordinary and intimate opportunities from April to November, for small groups of six guests to be immersed in the ancient cultures and stunning wildlife of Canadas Pacific Coast. Glacier Mountaineer Lodge
Standing at the base of the ski runs and just steps from the gondola are the Glacier and Mountaineer lodges. These beautiful executive style condos and rooms are fully furnished and were designed with creature comfort in mind. All condos have fully equipped kitchens, gas fireplaces and spectacular views. Island View Beach Regional Park
This seasonal government-run campground on the ocean offers affordable RV and tent camping in nature with fabulous panoramic seascape views. It features a long sandy beach, bird watching, nature events, a variety of walking trails, including a user-friendly loop trail. It is close to the ferry, airport, downtown Victoria and the Lochside Regional Trail. The campground has 18 beach front RV sites, 5 treed tent trailer sites and 24 treed tent sites, and all campsites are self-contained. Sites are reservable online only, up to 30 days in advance; no first-come first-serve. All sites $25/night; $10 for each additional vehicle. Payable online by Visa or Mastercard.
