Beyond Bliss Suites & Spa have two different accommodation offerings, both are beautifully modern, clean and comfortable. There are four one bedroom suites with a King Bed and Queen pullout sofabed, full kitchens,jetted tubs and private balconies. The suites are 700 - 800 sq feet in size and are very comfortable for two and spacious enough for four guests. Two of these suites have an ocean view with a sweeping view of the straight, the mountains and all the local ocean wildlife. **NOTE: there is NO ELEVATOR at this property and it is one flight of stairs from the main reception on Marine Ave if you choose a suite. There are also 3 hotel rooms with ocean views and a semi private deck. They have no kitchen facilities, no bathtub but a lovely shower and are STREET LEVEL entry with no stairs from Marine Ave. With a full service day spa and great retail onsite we are conveniently located in the heart of downtown Powell River with lots of restaurants and shopping to walk to.

The Cariboo Ski Touring Club is a non-profit organization that caters to cross-country, skate skiing and snowshoers. We provide 75 km of groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing. Bell 2 Lodge - Pristine scenery, comfortable accommodation and everyday amenities make Bell 2 Lodge the ideal stopover on your way to and from the Yukon/Alaska. Our log chalets [rooms available from mid-April to late November] are complete with ensuite bathrooms and wood burning stoves. The Bell 2 Coffee Shop and Gas Station are open year round and offer homemade soups, sandwiches and small snacks. Other amenities include showers, laundry, basic satellite internet and telephone. Historically, Island Mountain Arts has sought to provide opportunities for the exhibition of professional artists in northern BC, for the benefit of both artists and northern communities. Relative to major urban centres, there have been minimal venues for exhibitions in the north, resulting in limited access to cultural activities for residents of small, isolated, or northern communities. Prior to 1988, Island Mountain Arts occasionally produced professional exhibitions by partnering with venues in Wells such as the Wells-Barkerville School, the Community Hall and the Wells Hotel, to exhibit artwork. With the restoration of the Hill Meat Market building in 1988 and creation of a public gallery, IMA was at last able to provide a secure professional venue for exhibits in Wells.

This building is truly special. It is one of only a few commercial buildings in BC from this era with intact interior elements. It contains all of the counters, shelving, gas lights, string holders, paper dispensers, as well as a cash register, weigh scale, coffee grinder, cheese wheel and many other items that were used in the operation of the store. The museum aslo contains information on Ainsworth's rich history in the region. Stepping into this store is truly like stepping back in time. The museum also hosts an artisan gift shop filled with beautiful handmade goods as well as an amazing selection of crystals, gemstones, singing bowls, leather goods, and eco friendly Canadian made clothing.
