Windsure is a family-run watersports business, located at beautiful Jericho Beach in West Point Grey, Vancouver. Today, we work to share our love of three quintessential Vancouver watersports: Windsurfing, Stand-Up Paddleboarding, and Skimboarding. Regardless of experience, age, ability, or comfort-level, Windsure has a program designed for anyone looking to get out on the water. Offering everything from beginner and intermediate lessons to equipment rentals to youth summer camps, the team at Windsure is dedicated to creating an experience for as many watersport-seekers as possible! We are proud to be a part of the Vancouver watersports community and we hope to continue to help it grow by sharing our love of the water with our fellow Vancouverites.

Overlooking the most iconic photographed view in the South Okanagan sits Bighorn Ridge Guest House on 10 native acres in the Great Basin Desert. The award winning "adobe" styled Guest House is adult-only, pet friendly (with prior approval) and has 2 private suites (accommodating 2 adults per suite) and a common kitchen. This non-profit society manages over 20 km of nordic trails groomed for classic and skate winter skiing in two areas managed by the club. One area is in town at the Fernie Golf Course featuring 12 km of trails on fairly mellow terrain with wide open spaces. There are also more than 10 km of trails at the Elk Valley Nordic Centre next to Mount Fernie Provincial Park. To reach the Elk Valley Nordic Centre, go west from Fernie on Highway 3. At 3 km from the bridge, turn right at the Island Lake Lodge sign. Follow the road for 0.9 km to the Mt. Fernie Provincial Park sign. Turn left into the overflow parking lot at 0.2 km. The hilly terrain and isolated nature of the trails makes this a very exciting place to ski. The trails link up with the multi-use trails at Fernie Alpine Resort. Trail maps are posted at the kiosks located at the entrances to the trails. Please NO DOGS ON THE TRAILS at any time. The Elk Valley Nordic Centre Warming Hut is located at (49.485633 N, 115.090980 W).
