It is the excitement of crossing a river, riding "the man from snowy river," going thru old growth, river bottoms, crossing slides and alpine meadows, just riding in the mountains and doing it with a strong animal beneath you. The views are spectacular! We also offer pack trips, cabin rentals, and fishing trips. Must call or email for directions. Do NOT drive to our house please. The Kootenay Lake Historical Society is the custodian of the S.S. Moyie, the world's oldest intact passenger sternwheeler. The Moyie plied Kootenay Lake for 59 years - it is now a National Historic Site and Museum. Open from May through October, visitors are taken back in time when the board the vessel. Rossland Lions Community Campground is located 1.5 km from downtown Rossland adjacent to Centennial Ball Park. Amenities include clean, modern washrooms, free hot showers, gazebo with large barbecue, 20 camping sites, picnic tables, fire rings and free sani-dump station. We are pet friendly. We accept cash or credit cards for payment. Tenting sites are $25.00, Paved and Powered sites are $30.00 and one 30 amp Paved & Powered site for $35.00.

Our seasonal "Caboose" Mackenzie Visitor Centre is open from May to September and is located at the Junction of Hwy 97 & Hwy 39. Year-round, you can visit the Visitor Centre in the Mackenzie Chamber of Commerce at #11-600 Mackenzie Boulevard, Mackenzie, BC for all of your tourism information and souvenirs.
