Fossil Beach Farm is a private 80 acre waterfront working farm. We offer glamping in our fully finished bell tents overlooking the Salish Sea and fresh cider fermented from our on site and other Hornby orchards. Our tasting room offers 5 different ciders, experimental tap, and non-alcoholic choices available in tasting flights, growlers, or prepackaged to be enjoyed in our picnic area or to go. We now offer farm to table BBQ in our outdoor kitchen during tasting hours.

The Gallery at Queens Park is a community art gallery program that has provided a venue for emerging and established artists to showcase their work since 1985. Over the year, 12 exhibitions are presented in two-dimensional and three-dimensional mediums such as painting, photography, pottery, wood carving, bronze statues, and more. Artists are provided exhibition space free of charge and share their work with the community of New Westminster. Temporarily closed until August 31, 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Administration is currently taking appointments on a limited basis.

Having grown grapes for the last 20 years we have established ourselves as one of the premier award winning grape growers in the valley. Our story started with our family immigrating from India in the 1990's and making Okanagan our home. We have always worked to establish ourselves as hard working and determined family. The name Kismet is derived from the Punjabi word 'destiny'.

The Visitor Centre in New Denver is the hub of local information for travelers, adventure seekers, and those wanting to experience the local Kootenay lifestyle. The Visitor Centre is housed in the historic Bank of Montreal building (built 1897) and the building also contains the Silvery Slocan Museum. Take a stroll though our 100 year old history, or stay in the now, with free wifi access. We are open part-time during May and June, then will be open 7 days a week from July 1st until Labour Day weekend in September.

Exhibitions at the Museum include the Historic Port Moody CPR Station itself, now in its 3rd location. See artifacts and walk through the parlour, kitchen, and telegraph room, recreated to reflect the station as it was in the 1930s. The Museum is currently featuring the exhibit ‘Port Moody Industries’ & ‘Our Living Languages: First Peoples Voices in BC’, on loan from the Royal Museum of BC, and our own ‘Inclusion’ Exhibit. We’re committed to Reconciliation and sharing the histories of Indigenous Peoples. Enjoy community displays, the Heritage Garden and the Meditation Garden. Our restored 1921 CPR railcar, the “Venosta”, is available to explore or to rent for events. Kelowna Yacht Club offers a comprehensive range of water sports activities suitable for all ages, starting from 4 years old through to adults. We provide keelboat lessons, encompassing a variety of experiences such as sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Additionally, our Kids Summer Camps present an exciting opportunity for younger enthusiasts.
