Carmel Beach Private Lodges is nestled on a private cove on the southeast end of Shuswap Lake with direct access to one of BCs most sought after lakes. Here, you'll find 23 exquisite Lodges that represent the ultimate expression of fine living. The semi-gated community wraps around a secluded bay in a private setting, providing exceptional views and access to the lake. No other offering in the area boasts this calibre of homes and five star resort-style amenities, including a 300 feet pebble stone beach, boat buoys and dock and a 3,500 sq. ft. Clubhouse featuring a fitness center, fireside lounge, self serve bar, billiards room, sauna and steam room. An outdoor salt water pool and hot tub, upper and lower tanning decks, and large community fire pit round out the available amenities. With only 16 available rental lodges, space fills up quickly.

Facilities: 34 campsites, 2 group sites, public beach, picnic area, boat launch, hiking trails, pit toilets, hand water pump. There is a 10hp boating restriction on the lake. Location: The best access road is off of Highway 3 about 6km east of Bridesville. Follow Johnstone Creek Road for 25km to the park. It is a maintained gravel road and takes approximately 40 minutes from the highway turnoff. Other access points off of Highway 33 and from OK Falls are not well marked and are unmaintained forestry roads that are not suitable for vehicle traffic. Conkle Lake is a secluded lake in the sub-alpine Kettle Valley area that offers rainbow trout fishing, canoeing, swimming and hiking. Come enjoy the sunshine, sandy beach and pristine views at this out-of-the-way gem! Firewood is available for sale. Open from May Long Weekend through Labour Day.

MacSailing is the sailing school at the Jericho Sailing Center in Vancouver. We offer introductory sailing lessons for children and adults. Our goal is to offer a complete sailing experience based upon excellent instruction and a safe environment, utilizing equipment appropriate for all ages in a fun and dynamic atmosphere. All of our coaches are Sail Canada (or equivalent) certified with water safety and first-aid training.
