We are located on Mile 462 of the historic Alaska Highway on the shores of beautiful Muncho Lake. As a remote lodge, we pride ourselves in maintaining a high level of service for our guests in the middle of the untouched wilderness of Muncho Lake. Our facilities include a hotel, dining room and lounge, cabins, lakeshore chalets, RV Park, gas station, picnic areas, sauna, playground, floatplane dock, boat ramp and more. All of our facilities are available for our guests including Wifi. We are proud to be able to provide our guests with most of the modern comforts despite being so remote. The Northern Rockies Lodge operates year round without any government subsidies and we were able to build over the last 3+ decades a self-sufficient village in the wilderness for you: We generate our own power, our own water and sewage systems. In addition to providing overnight accommodations for the Alcan travellers, we are also a popular vacation destination for many guests. Founded in 1991 and in operation for over 25 years, Wolf Creek Trail Rides offers an experience like no other! Join us in touring the beautiful desert lands of the Osoyoos Indian Band Reserve in Oliver on horseback. You will get to experience the diverse desert ecosystem housing various kinds of vegetation like sagebrush and antelope brush, the wildlife like whitetail deer, mule deer, coyotes, black bear, various bird species, horses and more!

Our beautiful remote wilderness lodge is located at the shore of Williston Lake, 65 km by boat from Hudson's Hope. Pick up in Hudson's Hope is included. We also provide great guided wilderness adventure for individuals, couples and smaller groups (up to 8 persons). All trips are unique and individual, when it comes to accomodation, activities and duration. We can take you into the Rocky Mountains on horse back in tent camp and spend the days riding and hiking - we can go fishing for huge trouts on the lake - we can explore the area on side-by-sides, and maybe see bears, moose, elk and goats.
