Cameron Ocean Adventures offers whale watching & wildlife tours: With a focus on finding whales, we also encounter a multitude of other marine life, such as sea lions, seals, sea otters, eagles and marine birds. Our tours take place on a 43 foot (13 meter) covered boat with indoor and outdoor viewing areas, heated cabin and bathroom onboard. We provide inflatable life jackets for all our guests to be worn during the tour, as well as life jackets for children. We also provide binoculars for all our guests to use.

The Richmond Art Gallery is the City of Richmond's Public Art Gallery, supported by the Richmond Art Gallery Association. Located on peaceful Denman Island, Fillongley Provincial Park is a short 10-minute ferry crossing from Buckley Bay (located between Qualicum Beach and the town of Courtenay). Fillongley is a popular small campground. It has 10 oceanside, compact campsites. It is 80% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of campsites available. This is the only provincial campground on Denman Island; campers may camp in the adjacent day-use parking lot overnight when the main campground is full (regular camping fees apply to overflow camping).
