Kay Llnagaay is a place for the Haida voice to be heard. The Haida Gwaii Museum opened in 1976 and continues to build an international reputation for showcasing Haida historical and contemporary art, All-Island artists and an outstanding collection of objects, artifacts and scientific material culture. The Museum is committed to encouraging and facilitating creative dialogue and exploring a more holistic and critical view of the multiple and diverse ways of understanding Haida Gwaii home to one of the most prominent Northwest Coast First Nations cultures (Haida), and rich ecosystems in Canada.

Come to our tasting room nestled in the orchard and sample a variety of ciders, with an opportunity to purchase. We have a picnic area on the patio and grass, so bring your lunch to enjoy after a cool tasting of cider. Our orchards back right onto Trout Creek, so feel free to wander through the gently swaying trees and stay a while!

The Sointula Resource Centre operates the official Visitor Centre for Sointula and Malcolm Island. Stop here first for maps, island information and details on local businesses. We offer a free bike share and e-bike rental program from May through October (more information can be found here - mibike.ca). We have public-use computers, offer tech and web assistance, and provide office services such as printing, copying, scanning, faxing, laminating, and more.

B & B is in the Lake Kathlyn Area, beside Huds.Bay Mount. We are in a wildlife area right beside the Silvern Lake Trail with views to the Kathlyn Glacier, Twin Falls. The Trail is ideal for hiking a. biking in the summer and snowmobiling/X-Country in the winter. After that you can relax in our Outdoor Hot-Tub with glacierview. Our family has been farming on this lovely part of the Oldfield valley since the late 1950's; first in strawberries, and then loganberries for the island wineries in the mid 1960's to 70's. We planted our vines in 2003 and opened our tasting room in 2012. Just 15 minutes north of Victoria near Butchart Gardens, we specialize in dry white wines and lively, lightly oaked reds. We grow Ortega - a signature grape for Vancouver Island, as well as Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir (we make a rose and a red from this grape), Millot and Foch, as well as our low alcohol "Splash".
