Carved into the rugged coastline of British Columbia 250 nautical miles north of Vancouver, Legacy Lodge sits within the Great Bear Rainforest in the protected waters of Pendleton Bay at the mouth of the famed Rivers Inlet. Guests enjoy spectacular views and deluxe accommodations with private baths and rooms appointed with luxurious linens. The lounge features a rustic bar with a fireplace seating and dining for 30 guests.Legacy Lodge provides three distinct seasons of fishing. Traditional salmon fishing for Chinook and Coho salmon are available from July through September in calm, secluded waters throughout Rivers Inlet. Halibut, Yellow Eye and Lingcod are also plentiful in these waters all summer. Heli-fishing for huge northern Coho salmon (20 lbs. plus) within the pristine rivers of the BC coastline is available during September and October, and wild Steelhead fishing from helicopters are available during April and May.Legacy Lodge offers exceptional fly fishing for Pacific salmon on the calm, protected waters of Rivers Inlet. In fact, more 50 to 60 pound Chinook salmon are caught in this fjord-like inlet each year than in any other area in British Columbia. Full of energy and fight, these salmon can battle for hours, over incredible distances.Rivers Inlet lies within the Great Bear Rainforest, the planets last large expanses of coastal temperate rainforest. At 8+ million acres, it is 5 times the size of Banff National Park and represents one of the most diverse ecosystems on the planet. With an unmatched biological output of 500 tons per acre, it's 40 percent greater than tropical rain forests.

Nestled in the heart of sledding and houseboat country, are our three newly built cabins. Each cabin includes two bedrooms, with one single bed and one double bed in each room. One living room with a futon, a fully functional kitchen, and one bathroom with a stand up shower. Each cabin is equipped with its very own drying room for our sledding, snowboarding, and skiing guests.
