This seasonal government-run campground on the ocean offers affordable RV and tent camping in nature with fabulous panoramic seascape views. It features a long sandy beach, bird watching, nature events, a variety of walking trails, including a user-friendly loop trail. It is close to the ferry, airport, downtown Victoria and the Lochside Regional Trail. The campground has 18 beach front RV sites, 5 treed tent trailer sites and 24 treed tent sites, and all campsites are self-contained. Sites are reservable online only, up to 30 days in advance; no first-come first-serve. All sites $25/night; $10 for each additional vehicle. Payable online by Visa or Mastercard. Our two bedroom garden level suite offers 1000 sq ft. of privacy complete with your own entrance and easy access to our beautiful garden. Each bedroom offers a queen bed with pillow top mattresses and quality linens. The suite is immaculate and offers travelers that added bonus of having a living room to relax as well as a kitchenette and eating area. Travelers enjoy the convenience of a fridge as well as the ability to make coffee and tea at any time. Guests rave about our home cooked full breakfast which can be enjoyed on our deck (weather permitting) with gorgeous mountain views as the backdrop. Located on peaceful Denman Island, Fillongley Provincial Park is a short 10-minute ferry crossing from Buckley Bay (located between Qualicum Beach and the town of Courtenay). Fillongley is a popular small campground. It has 10 oceanside, compact campsites. It is 80% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of campsites available. This is the only provincial campground on Denman Island; campers may camp in the adjacent day-use parking lot overnight when the main campground is full (regular camping fees apply to overflow camping).
