The Nkmip Desert Cultural Centre is a 9,000 square-foot interpretive centre that exhibits 2 films, the Inkameep Day School Art Collection, indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits, a 1.5 km walking trail, and reconstructed traditional Okanagan village, and (visitor favourite) interpreter hosted programs which boast a fun filled experience for all ages! The centre is also an architectural marvel, and was built from local, sustainable materials.

Located in the village of Stuie, British Columbia on the banks of the Atnarko River, Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is located on the traditional territory of the Nuxalk and Ulkatcho First Nations. The lodge is located in an extraordinary area where the worlds most interconnected fjord system, the worlds largest temperate rainforest, and a dramatic mountain landscape of glaciers, plunging creeks, pristine rivers, and granite cliffs converge. Much of the area is now protected as part of The Great Bear Rainforest or Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. The area is renowned for its abundant wildlife and is one of the most pristine grizzly bear habitats in the world. The historic lodge has been welcoming guests since 1931. Guests of the lodge may select either a Small Group or a Private package. Come nightfall, guests stay in their own private chalet or elevated suite right at the forest's edge. Spectacular views of mountain peaks, Beaver, Eagles, Osprey, Herons and even Black Bears are regular sights that will have you eagerly wondering whats around the next bend. Unlike an amusement park ride River of Golden Dreams trips allow you to be an active participant, one of the reasons people keep coming back to paddle the river. In the spring the water levels can be high and moving though always flat and no rapids. By mid-summer water levels are gentle. By late summer the beaver start rebuilding their dams creating pools to paddle in. Guides are recommended, though experienced river paddlers go unguided. The Ladysmith Gallery hosts two art shows a month that are open to the public - a monthly member art show featuring a variety of artworks around a different theme from Vancouver Island and Gulf Island artists; followed by a 10 day guest artist exhibition. The location also features a curated gallery boutique shop with smaller artworks from over 50 artists. The boutique holds seasonal offerings as well. Other events that take place at the Ladysmith Gallery are art pop-ups with interactive art experiences, prestigious art exhibitions such as the biennial Fine Arts Show and late night shopping opportunities during the December season. Located in the heart of downtown Ladysmith, the Ladysmith Gallery is seconds away from local shopping and restaurants. A not for profit organization under the Arts Council of Ladysmith, it has a strong reputation for the largest and top quality of art from West Coast artists for over 20 years.

The Hedley Museum is closed for the 2022 season now. Opening again in May of 2023. Opening hours generally include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays 10:00-4:00pm. In 2023 we hope to be open 7 days a week for July and August. A charming heritage museum in the heart of the Similkameen Valley, that shares the towns gold mining history. The building houses a gift shop, tea room and an amazing collection of photos, stories and artifacts. The back garden is shaded and provides a welcome place to sit and enjoy the day. The building is wheel accessible and air conditioned. Admission is by donation and our tour guides will gladly show you around the museum. Also lots of brochures, maps and info for tourists & visitors at the info booth inside the museum.

Named after the Eagles that soar overhead, Eaglecrest Golf Club is located in the beautiful Oceanside area of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Established in 1971, Eaglecrest is one of the oldest golf courses in the area. This 18 hole championship golf course offers lush fairways and towering evergreen trees. The layout deftly combines a variety of different elements to create a uniquely challenging course. The first three holes are traditional links-style holes, while the next nine are tighter, winding through dense groves of firs and cedars. The final six holes are the golf courses most formidable, especially the 14th and 17th. The par-5 14th hole features lakes on either side as well as a treacherous pot bunker guarding the large green. Eaglecrest Golf Club`s 17th is also tricky. With a narrow landing area, massive greenside bunkers, and a slippery, four tiered, narrow green, the 17th at Eaglecrest will test all areas of your game. Eaglecrest presents many challenging tests, even for the most seasoned golfer.
