This is a 6 acre campground in a quiet forested rural-residential area with big trees and very few mosquitoes. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. There are private huts and tent and RV sites. It is beautiful land . Shared amenities include a community building with a full kitchen, bathrooms with free hot showers and flush toilets and a wood stove. Other amenities include free WiFi, rain-shelters, picnic tables, a barbecue area, fire pits and hammocks. Valhalla Park, Slocan Lake, Nelson, and Castlegar are 35 minutes away. Nelson has many fine restaurants and a thriving art, music and dance scene. Stay here as a base for outdoor adventure, to reconnect with the forest, or just to relax. The Slocan River is ideal for floating or paddling and its very close. We offer a very quite, clean, friendly accommodations with local knowledge. We can print your fishing licence from the office, have an onsite fish cleaning station as well as complimentary freezer space for your fish. We have a treed RV park that hosts 22 fully serviced RV sites that is open year round. Additionally, there is a herb garden for guests use along with plenty of flower beds.

This completely restored Hudsons Bay Company post, located on the shores of Stuart Lake, was an economic powerhouse of trade and commerce in the 19th Century. It is the largest group of original wooden buildings depicting the fur trade in Canada and portrays the relationship between the fur traders and the Carrier First Nation. Costumed interpreters provide a first hand look at how people lived, ate, worked and died more than a century ago.

Barefoot Beach Resort is a luxury RV campground with a 14 unit Yurt Village. We have our own private beach located a short walk from your RV lot, two of our Yurt rentals are waterfront. Our campground has the largest RV lots in the Okanagan with beautifully landscaped gardens that are irrigated and a canopy of mature trees that provide lots of shade. Direct access to miles of KVR biking and hiking trails. On site laundry for $2/load and an off leash area for dogs. Two waterfront cabins & a one-bedroom suite on a half acre property on the Ucluelet harbour waterfront. Each unit sleeps 2 with a Queen bed. The cabins have kitchenettes & a deck with BBQ & 2-person Jacuzzi soaker tub. The suite has a full kitchen, a deck with BBQ & exclusive use of a hot tub. Breakfast supplies are provided in each unit, and all 3 units are pet-friendly. Our beach is perfect to launch a kayak or canoe. Lots of wildlife including deer, racoons, sea lions, river otters & Bald eagles; a Blue Heron frequents the rocks off our beach regularly. A few times a year a group of transient Orcas come into the harbor & swim right past our property!
