Just south of the Alaska panhandle and located within Canada's only grizzly bear protected area, Khutzeymateen Wilderness Lodge is your home in the wilderness where you can visit with the grizzly bears in the wild. No roads, no towns...just wilderness and wildlife. Climb into the floatplane and take off from Prince Rupert, BC for a 20 minute flight over mountains and inlets to the Khutzeymateen. Our days are filled with searching for grizzly bears in the lush Khutzeymateen Inlet and estuary, with bald eagles, seabirds, seals, waterfalls and mountains. We are trained and certified under the Commercial Bear Viewing Association of BC.

We are a family based winery focusing on premium wines produced from grapes grown in the spectacular Similkameen Valley. Our unique solar powered winery was built using strawbale construction, which is energy efficient and well suited to our desert environment. Our wineshop is open for tastings from May until October. Established in 1986 Helijet has been a proud and active participant in British Columbia's growth for the past two and a half decades. Beginning with a single helicopter, and a handful of enthusiastic employees, Helijet launched Canada's first scheduled helicopter service. From that single helicopter, flying eight times a day between downtown Vancouver and downtown Victoria, Helijet has grown into a dynamic publicly-traded company with operations in Richmond, Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, Prince Rupert and Haida Gwaii.
