Sorcerer Lodge is a remote helicopter accessed backcountry lodge located in the Selkirk Mountains near Golden BC and on the border Glacier Nation Park. We offer ski touring, snowboarding and mountaineering packages both guided/catered or self service. The terrain is heavily glaciated and not recommended for beginners. A variety of tree skiing gets you outside on the worst weather days and open glades and glacier runs allow access to many peaks in the area.

Castlegar's Golf Club is a championship 18-hole, semi-private course situated above the Columbia River. Our facilities include a fully-stocked golf shop, excellent practice facilities, full service Clubhouse & a new 20 site RV Park. We also offer the following amenities: private lessons, grass tee driving range, practice greens, club rentals & power carts. In 2010, we hosted the BC Amateur and in 2011 the BC Senior games. The championship Castlegar Golf Course has hosted numerous Provincial and National tournaments. A must play on any Kootenay vacation; come and stay in our great new RV Park. Also available for rent is a fully-equipped 4 bedroom fishing lodge, which sleeps 10-12 people: The main floor is equipped with a spacious kitchen area, dining area, living area with air conditioning, main bedroom with window air conditioning and 1.5 bathrooms. Off the main area are patio doors leading to a spacious lakeview deck with large picnic tables, BBQ, side table, sink and natural gas fire pit with 6 chairs and 2 stools. On the lower level there are three bedrooms, laundry room and another bathroom with spacious shower.

Our cabins are clean, quiet, and close to all of the amenities and activities in New Denver and Slocan Lake. All of the cabins are equipped with a full kitchen including all pots, pans and cutlery. Comfortable beds with duvets and a TV make this a home away from home.
