The planting of nearly 2,000 vines includes varietals, such as Grner Veltliner, Albarino, and Verdelho. Tracing its roots back to 2006, the vineyard veterans of Cabernet Libre, Castel, Siegerrebe, and Pinot Noir thrive on the cobble-sloped soils. Skeena's Base Camp utilizes quonset style tents to house their guests. The double occupancy bedroom tents are insulated, have a floor, are heated and have electricity. The tents are furnished with real mattresses, wool comforters, comfy pillows and Skeena supplies towels as well as organic shampoo and conditioner. The "common" tent contains the kitchen, dining area and lounge. Moist Pacific air colliding with the cold, dry air from the interior creates the huge dumps of perfect powder snow that Skeena is famous for!!

The Hedley Museum is closed for the 2022 season now. Opening again in May of 2023. Opening hours generally include Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays 10:00-4:00pm. In 2023 we hope to be open 7 days a week for July and August. A charming heritage museum in the heart of the Similkameen Valley, that shares the towns gold mining history. The building houses a gift shop, tea room and an amazing collection of photos, stories and artifacts. The back garden is shaded and provides a welcome place to sit and enjoy the day. The building is wheel accessible and air conditioned. Admission is by donation and our tour guides will gladly show you around the museum. Also lots of brochures, maps and info for tourists & visitors at the info booth inside the museum.

The Bulkley Valley Nordic Centre features a 52 km network of cross country ski trails through sheltered spruce and pine forest. 11 km of the trails are dog friendly. 5.5 kms of lit trails provide an excellent opportunity for skiing after work or school. Trail lights are on until 9:30 pm every night. The trails are groomed and set for both classic and skate techniques frequently. The Buchfink Memorial lodge offers a kitchen, indoor washrooms, change rooms, and a roomy seating area upstairs. The Gary Murdoch Memorial wax hut provides a warm and functional space for waxing.
