Ripples Winery & New Wave Distilling is a family owned and operated winery/distillery that creates wines and spirits with local ingredients using sustainable practices. The Oliver & District Museum is housed in the old BC Provincial Police building, a heritage location built in 1924. Learn about the South Okanagan's unique ecosystem, local mining, ranching, and agriculture, and the culture and resilience of the Syilx Okanagan people. Then step back in time by entering the Fairview Jail, one of the few remaining intact buildings from our gold mining past!

Our 2-bedroom, bed and breakfast is in beautiful West Courtenay, which is approximately 90 minutes north of the Nanaimo ferries (via the 19A Oceanview route, or 70 minutes (via the Inland Highway), 15 minutes from the Comox Valley Airport and about 15 minutes from the Powell River Ferry Terminal. There are 6 golf courses, including the world-class Crown Isle Golf & Country Club. Beautiful parks and hiking trails just a short walk or drive from Arbour Cottage B & B. Mount Washington, Strathcona Provincial Park and Paradise Meadows only 32 minutes away. B & B within driving distance to unique shops in downtown Courtenay. Two bedrooms available, both queen. Low Season (October to April) $120; High Season (May to September $130 (breakfast included). Shared bath. Patio available (weather permitting) for our guests use.
