Our family has been farming on this lovely part of the Oldfield valley since the late 1950's; first in strawberries, and then loganberries for the island wineries in the mid 1960's to 70's. We planted our vines in 2003 and opened our tasting room in 2012. Just 15 minutes north of Victoria near Butchart Gardens, we specialize in dry white wines and lively, lightly oaked reds. We grow Ortega - a signature grape for Vancouver Island, as well as Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir (we make a rose and a red from this grape), Millot and Foch, as well as our low alcohol "Splash". Running half-day, full day and two-day Rafting tours on the rivers of the Sea to Sky corridor. We have convenient starting points from several Vancouver, Whistler and Squamish Hotels. We operate 7 days a week and on weekends we offer morning and afternoon departures. During the Covid19 pandemic we are offering "Book a Boat" options on all of our day tours. This option allows guests to reserve a private raft for 4-6 people in order to raft safely within the comforts of their own bubble.

Established in 1916 as part of the Dominion Experimental Farm, now the Summerland Research and Development Centre, the 6 hectare, Summerland Ornamental Gardens was designed to help residents, choose ornamental plants for their gardens that would be suitable for the dry Okanagan climate. In collaboration with Agriculture Canada, the site is maintained by the non-profit society, the Friends of Summerland Ornamental Gardens. As you stroll through the Gardens you will have views of Okanagan Lake, Giant's Head Mountain and the Trout Creek Trestle railroad bridge, an outstanding engineering feat constructed for the Kettle Valley Railway. Visit the demonstration garden beds and learn principles of water-smart gardening with the diverse Welcome Garden, Xeriscape Garden, Butterfly Garden, Vegetable garden, Canadian Heritage Rose garden, Fairy Garden and more. Canyon Ridge Lodge is a beautiful timber frame lodge. There are three lovely bed and breakfast rooms which all have their own en-suite private bathrooms. The rooms share access to the guest lounge, a big garden, patio and hot tub. For longer stays there is the spacious Purcell Suite, a one-bedroom self-catered suite. All rooms have flatscreen tv's with a chromecast & cable, WiFi and complimentary toiletries.

The BOLD Street Team provides mobile visitor services by popping up at popular locations and events across Kamloops to assist with information and provide resources to visitors and locals in the city. Our team is made up of tourism ambassadors with a passion for local attractions, outdoor adventures, and more.
