The Fort Nelson Visitor Information Centre is located at Mile 300 on the famous Alaska Highway. Stop in to get information, ask questions, use the computers or internet, use bathrooms and fill up your coffee mug. The centre is also stocked with local artisan products from art and jewelry to pottery and First Nations products which may make a great keepsake. Strongwater camping and cabins is the closest accommodation to the trail entrance to the world famous Skookumchuck Rapids. We offer 12 wonderful pull-in campsites each with fire pit and picnic table. We also offer 8 sleeping cabins with mini fridges, table and chairs and comfy beds. Modern, comfortable showers and bathroom facilities are on site for the use of all guests.

Sea to Sky Paragliding hosted the Canadian Paragliding Nationals in 2017, and again in summer 2019 with international pilots from 13 countries. Pilot Guy Herrington has flown over 1500 flights in 7 countries on 4 continents. He has flown as high as 15,000, on flights lasting over 8 hours and has gone distances of over 230km.
