Wildlife is best spotted with our complimentary binoculars and blankets are shared with our guests on the cooler days. We can sail rain or shine and recommend reservations for all times of the year. Metchosin ArtPod is an artist-run collective and gallery located in the rural village of Metchosin, on Greater Victorias West Shore. We support local visual artists by offering opportunities to learn, create, show, and sell original work, and offer the community a venue for engaging with the visual arts. We offer: open calls for art submissions to artists in our region and beyond; externally juried art shows and sales in a gallery setting; show opening events, featured artist talks, and discussion forums; weekly drop-in art sessions; art workshops, resource networks and learning opportunities. Art drop-in sessions are held during the week, and the gallery is open Fri -Sun, 11-4. We are located in a rural village, surrounded by cafes, a micro-brewery, artist studios, historic sites, and many farms, parks and trails. So many options for art lovers Well worth a visit!

Located in the South Cariboo Region of beautiful British Columba, this park like wilderness retreat known as Ruth Lake Lodge has been hosting guests since the late 1940s. The 37-acre property offers many groomed trails and access to crown land for hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding (your own horses). The 17-acre fenced pasture is available for guests travelling with horses. The waterfront area is clean and well maintained. Fishing boats, canoes, and kayaks for rent. A large fire pit by the water is perfect for late night lakeside fires. 3 - 2 bedroom cabins with lakeview 5 bedroom Community Lodge with shared kitchen and bathrooms, for mingling with others, large dinning area, games room and lounge.

We provide accommodation in luxurious Spherical Tree Houses that are suspended from trees or tripods by ropes. The spheres are suspended in the forest canopy and guests get to hang out in a serene forest setting in a sphere. Give us a call between 9am-8pm to make a booking.

Beyond Bliss Suites & Spa have two different accommodation offerings, both are beautifully modern, clean and comfortable. There are four one bedroom suites with a King Bed and Queen pullout sofabed, full kitchens,jetted tubs and private balconies. The suites are 700 - 800 sq feet in size and are very comfortable for two and spacious enough for four guests. Two of these suites have an ocean view with a sweeping view of the straight, the mountains and all the local ocean wildlife. **NOTE: there is NO ELEVATOR at this property and it is one flight of stairs from the main reception on Marine Ave if you choose a suite. There are also 3 hotel rooms with ocean views and a semi private deck. They have no kitchen facilities, no bathtub but a lovely shower and are STREET LEVEL entry with no stairs from Marine Ave. With a full service day spa and great retail onsite we are conveniently located in the heart of downtown Powell River with lots of restaurants and shopping to walk to.

From mid-May through August, studios and 1-bedroom suites are available on the beautiful UBC Vancouver campus. Only 20 minutes by car to downtown or the airport. The Gage Residence is within walking distance to UBC bus loop, restaurants, shops, recreational facilities and attractions. Our newly renovated, fully equipped private suites provide the best value in Vancouver starting at $229. Everyone can stay with us.

Once the home of Rossland's dairy, Red Barn Lodge is well situated for its current role of providing a convenient base for your Summer and Winter outdoor adventures. With wilderness starting at the backdoor and spectacular views of Red Mountain and Mount Roberts from the front, the guesthouse is just 5 minutes by car from Red Mountain Ski Area and Blackjack Cross-Country Ski Area.Rossland's downtown, with its great restaurants and stores, is just ten minutes away on foot. Trails lead from the yard into the backcountry for ski tours, snowshoeing, mountainbiking and walking on the many paths through the surrounding British Columbia Interior Cedar- Hemlock forest. The Trans-Canada Trail runs by just a couple of hundred yards away, through the Red Barn Lodge property. Snowshoes are available to guests.The lodge is well situated in 13 acres of private grounds. The West Coast Railway Association presents the story of how the railways were a catalyst in the creation of Western Canadian communities and their economies. This is done primarily at the Railway Museum of British Columbia (formerly the West Coast Railway Heritage Park) in Squamish, BC, where the collection of 95 heritage railway locomotives and cars are exhibited in a typical small community setting. WCRA also operates the Locomotive 374 Pavilion in Vancouver.
