Our 2-bedroom, bed and breakfast is in beautiful West Courtenay, which is approximately 90 minutes north of the Nanaimo ferries (via the 19A Oceanview route, or 70 minutes (via the Inland Highway), 15 minutes from the Comox Valley Airport and about 15 minutes from the Powell River Ferry Terminal. There are 6 golf courses, including the world-class Crown Isle Golf & Country Club. Beautiful parks and hiking trails just a short walk or drive from Arbour Cottage B & B. Mount Washington, Strathcona Provincial Park and Paradise Meadows only 32 minutes away. B & B within driving distance to unique shops in downtown Courtenay. Two bedrooms available, both queen. Low Season (October to April) $120; High Season (May to September $130 (breakfast included). Shared bath. Patio available (weather permitting) for our guests use. All buildings on Bear Valley Highlands are powered by solar power systems to preserve this beautiful nature.Our unique mongolian yurt overlooks the Valley towards the Monashee Mountains and offers lots of privacy as well as a spectacular view. Only a short distance from the lake it is an easy walk to enjoy swimming, boating and fishing. With 32' diameter, log rafters and a 6' glass dome in the 14' high centre it is truly an experience to live close to nature but with all amenities.

We offer two B&B room options each with large corner garden view windows, a private Ensuite and hot breakfast. The Rose Room features early 1900 era double bed, side table, armoire and dresser. The Floral Room features Mission style queen bed, two side tables and dresser. The Ensuite has a large soaker tub and separate shower. The third option is a one bedroom self-catering suite with private entrance. The suite also has a queen sized sofa bed enabling four guests in total. A fold-up cot is available upon request.
