Fortress Lake Wilderness Retreats facilities are cozy and definitely comfortable. Our private guest cabins are inviting and warm, framed and paneled in tongue and groove pine, with a canvas exterior. Each cabin has a queen or 2 Twin bed arrangement and is furnished with unique hand-crafted log beds. Beds have 4 memory gel foam, and come with new linens, pillows, and duvets.

Ocean Light II Adventures offers wildlife viewing and nature discovery tours on the BC Coast. Our trip destinations include; the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Sanctuary, Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, Great Bear Rainforest and Northern Vancouver Island. Brackendale Art Gallery, Home of the Brackendale Winter Eagle Festival and Count. Located one scenic hour north of Vancouver or 40 minutes south of Whistler, Brackendale Art Gallery is a center for the arts in the Squamish Valley. The Gallery offers licensed food service, gallery exhibits, concerts, live theatre, workshops and facilities for meetings and celebrations. The Brackendale Art Gallery Theatre Teahouse was established in 1970 as a community cultural centre to foster and further appreciation of local, BC and Canadian visual and performing art and artists. The Gallery is also a focus for environmental awareness and conservation and a meeting place for community groups.

U'mista Cultural Centre is one of the longest-operating and most successful First Nations cultural facilities in BC, founded in 1980 as a ground breaking project to house potlatch artifacts which had been seized by government during an earlier period of cultural repression. The return of the potlatch artifacts not only provided U'mista's name ('the return of something important'), and sparked a general trend toward repatriation of First Nations and cultural artifacts, it caused the creation of a physical facility and human resources infrastructure which have been successfully operated for over two decades.U'mista now operates a modern museum and cultural education facility in Alert Bay. Their operations include the museum, an extensive art gallery and gift shop, group tours, and presentations by dance troupes.

From May through October, Haig-Brown Heritage House, nestled on the Campbell River, offers unique Bed and Breakfast accommodations. Three rooms with views overlooking the grounds are available for up to seven guests. The house interior reflects the character and modest lifestyle of the family.
