Bowen Island Sea Kayaking is dedicated to offering safe, informative and fun experiences for the novice paddler through to the seasoned kayaker. We have experienced local guides available for lessons and guided tours. Our shop in Snug Cove on Bowen Island is an easy day-trip, just a 20-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, only 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

Telegraph Cove is tucked away on the eastern coast of Northern Vancouver Island. Family Farm B&B is a hobby farm situated on a lovely 5 acres in the quiet town of Powell River, BC. In the presence of a host, guests can visit with various animals, including chickens, ducks, geese, cows, and goats. There are various free activities for adults and children (depending on season and availability), including goat-milking, cheesemaking, and vegetable gardening. Breakfast is included.

This building is truly special. It is one of only a few commercial buildings in BC from this era with intact interior elements. It contains all of the counters, shelving, gas lights, string holders, paper dispensers, as well as a cash register, weigh scale, coffee grinder, cheese wheel and many other items that were used in the operation of the store. The museum aslo contains information on Ainsworth's rich history in the region. Stepping into this store is truly like stepping back in time. The museum also hosts an artisan gift shop filled with beautiful handmade goods as well as an amazing selection of crystals, gemstones, singing bowls, leather goods, and eco friendly Canadian made clothing.
