Bulkley Valley Brewery was created by Bikers, Skiers, Boarders, Fisherman, paddlers and people who really enjoy a good beer. Located in Smithers BC they realized that this small town had no "Apres" despite the fact that it was a natural wonderland. People had no place to gather, to tell stories, to see friends that they had not seen in awhile, to meet new friends. Most of all though Smithers had no Craft beer. Tumbler Ridge Golf & Country Club welcomes you to the most scenic and challenging course in Northern BC. Novice and experienced golfers alike enjoy the 9-hole, par 36 public golf course complete with pro shop, driving range, putting green and clubhouse.This fully irrigated course is cut from thick, forested terrain high above the broad Murray River, and putting requires careful study. Continuous gentle breezes, natural slopes, undulating fairways and water hazards test your skill. Most of the bent-grass greens have elevated approaches and well-placed sand traps guarding them. The finishing hole is the challenging 405-yard ninth, playing up a two-level fairway to an elevated green.

Castlegar Sculpturewalk is an annual exhibition of outdoor sculptures, located on a pleasant walking tour in downtown Castlegar. Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite sculpture via ballot - the winner of the People's Choice award is purchased by the City for the permanent collections. All of the artworks are available for sale or lease. Ballots/maps are located in red ballot boxes along the route (the start of the route is at the Kootenay Market (635 Columbia Avenue), though you can begin the walk from anywhere. Ballots/maps are also available at the Castlegar Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, or the Kootenay Gallery.
