At this time we are waiting for confirmation on whether the heated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tubs, fireside lounge, kids room, steam room, fitness center and the Sundance movie theatre will be available for the 2021/2022 winter season. The Sundance on-call shuttle service is no longer available.

Open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm year round. Weekends and Holidays noon to 4pm (when staff available, check). Our displays include First Nations, pioneer items including an 1880's cabin, mining, logging & ranching. Displays are curated annually. Alpine Lodge offers all the amenities that one would expect of a true ski lodge. Situated on the edge of Whistler Village, Alpine Lodge boasts large, well appointed bedrooms - most with private bath and all with mountain views. Includes sauna area with steam bath, jetted Jacuzzi. The Latch Inn, on Harbour Road in Sidney, is steeped in history and a glamourous past. In 1925, the Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia, Walter C. Nichol, commissioned famous architect Samuel Maclure to build him a summer home on a piece of forested property on the Saanich peninsula. The residence, completed in 1926 and coined Miraloma', was a brilliant confluence of the environment and artistic design. Even today, it oozes an old-world elegance and charm. Once the playground for the upper crust, it hosted sumptuous garden parties and welcomed visits from dignitaries and royalty. Edward, the Prince of Wales, and his brother George enjoyed the classy and comfortable accommodation in a state tour of British Columbia in 1927. In the 1940s, it became known as The Latch', reflecting the fact that every door in the house is opened with a latch and iron key.

Wya Point Resort is situated amongst old-growth forest and private, pristine beaches of the Yuu-thlu-ilth-aht (Ucluelet) First Nation peoples. Located on the rugged and remote west coast of Vancouver Island, we offer luxurious lodge accommodations, waterfront yurts and beachfront camping. We have nine timber lodges that were built to LEED Platinum standards using locally harvested red cedar. Each lodge is uniquely designed by a local carver and artist, and named for an animal of the Yuu-thlu-ilth-aht culture. The lodges come equipped with a full kitchenette, fireplace, bathroom, bedroom (1 or 2), cedar deck and chairs, and floor to ceiling windows that overlook Ucluth beach. Our beachfront yurts are open year-round and have private access to Wya beach. All come with a gas stove for heat, cedar deck and chairs, linens and basic kitchen essentials. While our yurts and lodges have daily housekeeping, guests are advised to bring their own potable drinking water and food.
