Come to the northern edge of the Great Bear Rainforest on British Columbias north coast, to the Khutzeymateen. Here, within the traditional territory of the Tsimshian nations, lives a wild population of coastal grizzly bears. Just south of the Alaska panhandle and located within Canada's only grizzly bear protected area, Khutzeymateen Wilderness Lodge is your home in the wilderness where you can visit with the grizzly bears in the wild. No roads, no towns...just wilderness and wildlife. Climb into the floatplane and take off from Prince Rupert, BC for a 20 minute flight over mountains and inlets to the Khutzeymateen. Our days are filled with searching for grizzly bears in the lush Khutzeymateen Inlet and estuary, with bald eagles, seabirds, seals, waterfalls and mountains. We are trained and certified under the Commercial Bear Viewing Association of BC.

We have been in operation for over 20 years, and have an outstanding service reputation. We also offer rentals of SUP's, Kayaks, and bikes and offer tours on the Kettle Valley Railgrade.

Twelve parkland acres of lush paradise provide 167+ full-service RV sites, open from April through mid-October. Resort amenities include a modern 69 slip marina, clean shower & washroom facilities, coin & cc tap laundry, Kid'z Zone, children's activities, off-leash dog park, sandy beach, convenience store, free wifi, boat/trailer parking and guest/visitor parking. Built in 1894 in the historic fishing village of Steveston, the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site is one of B.C.'s few historically intact canneries. The Parks Canada site commemorates the history and the contributions of the diverse communities and cultures of Canada's West Coast fishing industry. Our building and washrooms are fully accessible. Our picnic tables make for a great place for lunch while your dog enjoys a break in the dog run.

The Creston Valley Visitor Centre is located in downtown Creston next to the historic grain elevators. The Visitor Centre is a wifi hotspot and is wheelchair accessible. The Creston Valley - Kootenay Lake region is a great destination for foodies, family fun and rural adventurers.

We are a family oriented park and provide our guests with rides for all ages. For those thrill seekers out there, we have some of the most extreme waterslides such as the Valley of Fear, Bazooka Bowls, Speedslide and the Freefall. Food is available for purchase, and there are plenty of picnic benches and grassy areas for those of you who are not wanting to waterslide. We also have a selection of hot tubs and spray parks / kiddie areas.
