Our tours are based in the Exchamsiks River Provincial Park, located on Hwy 16 about 35 minutes west of Terrace or 55 minutes east of Prince Rupert. We can pick you up in either community or you can meet us at the park site which is the launch point for your river adventure!! All tours are day trips which include a shore lunch of wild BC sockeye salmon cooked over the open fire, salads, drinks and dessert. Your tour and river adventure can last from 2 to 8 hours.

The owners and staff are dedicated to making you feel at home. The Armstrong Inn Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dining. The cuisine is homestyle and very popular with the locals. Armstrong itself is quite charming and the home of the Interior Provincial Exposition (IPE). The fairgrounds are within walking distance while the city of Vernon is only a 15 minute drive away.

The Chateau Big White is ideally situated in the heart of the resort with beautiful views of the village. The hotel also features an outdoor hot tub, the Black Diamond Bar & Grill, free underground parking, and Elevation Day Spa. Each unit is beautifully decorated with standard features including gas fireplace, microwave, mini-fridge and in-room safes. The Contemporary Art Gallery (CAG) is an independent, non-profit public art gallery and one of Canadas leading venues for contemporary art. Offering free access to everyone, we work with artists from Canada and around the world to produce exhibitions, off-site projects, residencies, learning, outreach, community engagement programs, events and publications.
