Ridge Rotors is a small helicopter company that has been operating in Tumbler Ridge since 2004. With many years flying in the rugged wilderness of Tumbler Ridge we know of some fantastic backcountry that we would love to show you. If you want to take a scenic flight, go on a Heli-Hike, or you have your own adventure planned we want to take you to the skies and make your heart soar.

Want to soar like an eagle? Or knock an item off of your bucket list? Then come and visit us! We offer tandem flights for: Paragliding, Hang Gliding & Motorized Hang Gliding Trike. Tandem flights range in time from 8 minutes to over an hour, depending on the conditions. If you want to become a pilot yourself, we have qualified instructors to teach you how to paraglide or hang glide. The flight park has 2 launch sites and a 2000' grass runway and 2 smaller taxiways as well as a Pilot's Lounge, an outdoor covered deck where you can relax after your flight and watch others "commit acts of aviation"! We are open from late April to mid-October, weather permitting.

Rupert Park Pitch & Putt is a par 3 course in Vancouvers east side. The Golf Course is currently closed for the winter. It has impressive mountain views and imaginative use of trees and water. Elevated greens and a series of ponds bring water into play on 4 holes and make it a challenging and enjoyable course. With holes 50 and 120 yards, it is ideal for new golfers looking for a challenge, or regular golfers wanting to hone their short game.

Cottonwood House is one of the last remaining roadhouses in British Columbia. With over 75 years of Boyd family legacy, a visit to this historic site will allow you to experience the rich history of the Cariboo region first hand. The Town Plaza are a collection of three lodges, Deer, Bear and Eagle Lodge. These three buildings, which comprise the Town Plaza Suites, are located on the Village Stroll. Located at the hub of the Pacific Rim, the Alberni Valley has many treasures for you to discover. Nestled amongst the evergreens under the ever watchful presence of Mount Arrowsmith, you will find one of these at the Alberni Golf Club. This traditional golf course has a rich history extending back to the 1920's. While there have been many improvements to the course over the years you can nevertheless feel the spirit of those who have roamed the fairways before you. There is ample enjoyment and challenge for golfers of all skill levels. This par 70 jewel follows the contours of a salmon bearing stream which comes into play on several holes and also makes its annual contribution to the world's salmon capital, Port Alberni.
