Led by an experienced guide, our small groups journey to remote areas in western Canada. One trip is "8 Days in Haida Gwaii, a low key, active trip with a cultural focus. One day, we take in the site of the village of Skedans. The next day, we may visit a carver in his studio, or perhaps get smudged. All while, we tread lightly on this land, our steps taking us closer to an immersive experience.

During the pandemic, the Sidney Street Market was transformed into the "Sidney Outdoor Markets". Its new location off Beacon Avenue, next to the Mary Winspear Centre, hosts two markets per week throughout the summer. The new location offers plenty of nearby parking, larger, less crowded laneways to walk, convenient public washrooms and a wonderful variety of local and regional growers, producers, artists, musicians and creators that consist of many of our old favourites along with loads of new, exciting vendors. All of this is still just steps away from beautiful downtown Sidney and the many shops, restaurants and waterfront walkway. Oyama Lake Eco Lodge is situated on a volcanic lake with 27 islands, 15 cabin rentals, as well as a few camping sites. Stay the night or come up for the day and rent a boat. We offer canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards, motorized fishing boats as well as lager pontoon boats. Oyama lake is great for fly fishing, trolling behind a boat, swimming, relaxing or exploring. Three of our cabins come with private washrooms, however, there is also a shared ladies powder room and a shower house on-site. All cabins have their own fire-pit as well as access to a communal BBQ area. There is a small store on-site, but it is recommended that you bring up your own food and water.
