Once a church, our log lodge is perched on a knoll on the south shore overlooking the Johnstone Strait. The beach is just steps away. Whistler Fishing Guides has established an outstanding reputation by providing top quality, guided freshwater fishing experiences since 1988. As fly fishing specialists, we target Steelhead, Salmon, Trout and Char on over a dozen rivers and over fifty lakes. Whistler Fishing Guides offers heli-fishing and floatplane fishing tours to remote alpine lakes and rivers.

IMPORTANT: We practice catch & release for ALL trips. Under NO exceptions do we keep fish to bring home to eat. Minimum age requirement of 12. All guests MUST weigh between 80-250 lbs (36-113 kgs) due to limited equipment at this time. After picking you up from your accommodation in Whistler we will get you looking like a local BC angler by putting you in a pair of waders and boots. This allows you to get into the water and stay completely dry! Depending on the time of year, you may catch Rainbow Trout, Bull Trout or Cutthroat Trout and your experienced fishing guide will select a water body that will give you the best chance of catching one of these species. Because of this, you may be fishing in a small stream, river or lake. Our thought process is simple. Drive less and fish more to maximize your time out on the water fishing. There are plenty of lunkers a short drive from the Whistler village.

Seal Bay RV Park is one of Vancouver Islands finest, privately owned, fully serviced, year-round campgrounds. In a park-like setting, all sites are either 30 or 50 amp and also have water, sewer and cable connections. For your convenience wifi is available along with Shaw Go. The washrooms are heated, clean and showers are coin operated. A coin operated laundry is also on site. Wilderness tenting sites are open during the Summer months. If you are looking to get away for some peace and quiet this is the place to be, no pool, no playground. There is a beautiful pond stocked with rainbow trout and fly-fishing is available some of the time. A trail directly into Seal Bay Nature Park gives you an opportunity to go biking or hiking and in 30 minutes you can be down at Seal Bay. An ideal place to base your stay in the Comox Valley, 10 kms from either Courtenay or Comox.
