Kelowna Actors Studio Inc. (KAS) was formed in May of 2003 to produce vibrant, exciting presentations of the worlds best loved Broadway productions, present fun, challenging and enriching learning experiences for students of all ages, become the premiere forerunner and prime example of a high quality theatre company and enrich the cultural landscape of the Okanagan valley. Over the past 14 years, Actors Studio has successfully produced over 86 major productions, grown to accommodate over 250 students a semester and won civic and regional awards for their contribution to the arts.

Tuckkwiowhum Village (pronounced Tuck-wee-ohm) is a First Nations heritage site located in Nlakapamux territory, 5 km south of Boston Bar, British Columbia. Tuckkwiowhum Village was inspired by our desire to preserve and share the culture and traditions of the Nlakapamux people. The name Tuckkwiowhum means a great berry picking place and this area still boasts lush forests and beautiful rolling hills still plentiful with huckleberries, blueberries, and medicinal plants. Ten Mile Lake is a very popular recreational destination for local residents and visitors. It offers multiple lakeside picnic areas, change houses, playground, two large beaches with roped off swimming areas, a boat launch, reservable picnic shelter, walking trails and great fishing. The Lakeside Campground features attractive, treed campsites, showers and flush toilets. While the Touring Campground offers sunny, open sites with 23 pull through sites capable of handling even the largest RV's on the road. Take a rewarding 2-km hike on the old railway grade along the lake, and through the forest to a large beaver pond. For those that enjoy fishing but don't have a boat we have a great fishing dock that was installed in 2015 thanks to the efforts of the Fresh Water Fisheries Society of BC and the Quesnel Rod & Gun Club.
