Nipika Mountain Resort is an eco and adventure resort in the heart of the Canadian Rockies between Radium Hot Springs, BC and Banff, AB. The resort is off the grid, sourcing power from the sun and surrounding forest. All of Nipikas electricity is generated with renewable, clean solar energy. The log cabins are self-contained with everything you need for a relaxing stay: full kitchen, bathroom, linens, and log fireplace. Nipika is the gateway to the Cross River Canyon Trails, spanning 1,500 acres, set along the Kootenay and Cross River valleys. We build and maintain the trail system that starts at the cabins doorsteps. We have something for everyone: mountain biking, hiking, trail running, canoeing, disc golf, and swimming in summer and fat biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, and skating in winter. Founded in 1993, Poplar Grove Winery is one of the original five wineries on the Naramata Bench. Tony and Barb Holler purchased the winery in 2007 with the long-term vision and commitment to building one of the most respected wine growing estates in Canada. Their sons, Chris, Andrew, Matthew and Eric farm more than 140 acres of estate vineyards with care. Together, they share a commitment to express the incredible diversity of the Okanagan Valley. The Hollers are leading the journey to put Okanagan Valley wines on the map with an unwavering commitment to traditional farming and winemaking principles. Poplar Grove is widely recognized for crafting benchmark Pinot Gris and Cabernet Franc as well as multiple varietals and exceptional blends. Their flagship Okanagan blend of red Bordeaux varieties, The Legacy, first produced in 2003, is a wine that has the rare quality of being good at any age. Located on peaceful Denman Island, Fillongley Provincial Park is a short 10-minute ferry crossing from Buckley Bay (located between Qualicum Beach and the town of Courtenay). Fillongley is a popular small campground. It has 10 oceanside, compact campsites. It is 80% reservable and reservations are strongly recommended due to the limited number of campsites available. This is the only provincial campground on Denman Island; campers may camp in the adjacent day-use parking lot overnight when the main campground is full (regular camping fees apply to overflow camping).

Its a classic Being amid the first of its kind and caliber in the Columbia Valley, Mountainside Golf Course looks upon the craggy Rocky Mountain Slopes and down towards the crystal clear Columbia Lake Mother Natures premier backdrop. This course has been testing golfers for over 50 years and continues to entice new and experienced players to its magnificent vistas. With three sets of tees per hole, Mountainside Course caters to a variety of skill levels, offering an even playing field for the whole family.

The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the internment of over 22,000 Japanese Canadians during the Second World War. The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre opened its doors in 1994 as an initiative from the New Denver Kyowakai Society to commemorate and honor the stories of over 22,000 Japanese Canadians who were stripped of their civil rights, labelled "enemy aliens" and uprooted from their coastal homes during the Second World War. Located on the site of a former internment camp, the original buildings, period artifacts, interpretive displays, and Heiwa Teien garden designed by the renowned Roy (Tomomichi) Sumi, chronicle this extraordinary episode in Canadian history.

Castlegar Sculpturewalk is an annual exhibition of outdoor sculptures, located on a pleasant walking tour in downtown Castlegar. Viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite sculpture via ballot - the winner of the People's Choice award is purchased by the City for the permanent collections. All of the artworks are available for sale or lease. Ballots/maps are located in red ballot boxes along the route (the start of the route is at the Kootenay Market (635 Columbia Avenue), though you can begin the walk from anywhere. Ballots/maps are also available at the Castlegar Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, or the Kootenay Gallery.

Corcelettes Estate Winery, located on 150 acres in the Similkameen Valley, blends passion, precision and science to craft expressive, small lot premium wines. Led by Charlie and Jesce Baessler, the skilled team at Corcelettes is committed to creating exceptional wines and experiences. In history the word Corcelettes described a royal garden; this hasnt changed with the teams continued attention to the land and precision practices in both the vineyard and cellar. We place greatest care in our viticulture and believe in making our wine on the vine. Cultivating our estate vineyard and working closely with our local growers, no short cuts are ever taken in finding balance between viticulture, our environment, and winemaking. Our first vintage was in 2011, consisting of 200 cases. We currently craft 5000 cases of wine per year, with plans of each future vintage growing in production size.
