World class fishing guide Im Bruce and I have a passion for fishing on the West Coast. I grew up in Port Alice and have kept a excellent relationship with the community. Ive been fishing for 25 years and guiding for 14. My biggest excitement is witnessing the smiles on my guests as they hold up their catch!

Feed the seals, grab some lunch from Barb's Fish and Chips, check out the funky float homes, go for a whale-watching or kayak adventure with Eagle Wing or Kelp Reef, and pick up an ice cream cone from Jackson's on the way back into town! Through the collaboration of the Northeast Aboriginal Business Centre and Treaty 8 Tribal Association, the Indigenous Artist Market was created as an outlet for local Indigenous and First Nation(s) artisans. Here they are able to sell their pieces as well as hold workshops to teach their craft. In addition, the market has gifts and souvenirs that promotes First Nation(s) culture and traditions. Due to COVID-19, the Indigenous Artists' Market will be open for sales within the limited hours as posted and will also be available for online orders. All forms of payment are still acceptable, including Visa/Mastercard/Debit/Cash.

Welcome to the Roedde family's home. Gustav and Matilda Roedde settled in Vancouver in 1888. Gustav opened the first bookbinding business in Vancouver and by 1893 moved into their new house in the West End. Roedde House is attributed to famed architect Francis Rattenbury and is a City of Vancouver-designated Class A Heritage House. Since 1980, the Roedde House Preservation Society has taken painstaking care to renovate and furnish the house to reflect the ambience of late Victorian family life. Come in and experience life in the late 19th century for yourself!
