Brookside Inn Boutique Hotel offers 6 suites of luxury accommodation next to a working vineyard with a fantastic view of Mt Baker. Our Tudor style three story inn boasts 9-15 foot high ceilings throughout giving it a stately yet warm atmosphere. Our suites have a private bedroom with a queen size bed, living room with electric fireplace, bathroom with large tub and/or separate shower, and a built in desk, countertop and wet bar. There is a television and DVD player in each room. Each suite is equipped with thermostats. Each suite also has a private deck. Brookside Inn employs a state-of-the-art keyless entry system for each suite. Guests have access to a large TV lounge on the top floor and the common breakfast room on the main floor. We are happy to engage with and learn from new people, but will respect your privacy if you prefer. We are close to all the amenities but surrounded by the natural beauty of the Fraser Valley. Abbotsford Regional Hospital and the United States border are a 10 minute drive away. Brookside Inn is located in Pepin Brook Vineyard Estates, Abbotsford, British Columbia. We are 3 minutes drive from the Mt Lehman Road exit from the Trans Canada Highway. We are 7 minutes drive from the Abbotsford International airport, and a 10 minute drive from the Abbotsford/Sumas border crossing to the United States. The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the internment of over 22,000 Japanese Canadians during the Second World War. The Nikkei Internment Memorial Centre opened its doors in 1994 as an initiative from the New Denver Kyowakai Society to commemorate and honor the stories of over 22,000 Japanese Canadians who were stripped of their civil rights, labelled "enemy aliens" and uprooted from their coastal homes during the Second World War. Located on the site of a former internment camp, the original buildings, period artifacts, interpretive displays, and Heiwa Teien garden designed by the renowned Roy (Tomomichi) Sumi, chronicle this extraordinary episode in Canadian history.
