Mt. Washington Alpine Resort is a year-round recreation destination located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The Qualicum Beach Museum chronicles the social history of Qualicum Beach including First Nations, early pioneers and 'local characters'. It is also home to a paleontology exhibit and fossil collection renowned for its scientific and research value, as well as the Powerhouse Discovery Centre, a brick and steel heritage building with exhibits about power and energy. The museum maintains an extensive archive of local historic documents, photographs and artefacts and responds to inquiries from the general public.

Amaruq is based out of Victoria, BC, and offers guided motorcycle adventures spanning the entire length of Vancouver Island, as well as the Chilcotin Plateau and the Rockies. Our trips run anywhere from one to nine days, and our workshops are all one-day events focusing on either GPS Navigation on Motorcycles or Adventure Touring Skills. We cater to a variety of riding abilities & experience.
