Sweetwater Lane Farm is a functioning 7 acre homestead farm where we raise all our own food. The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin features a hot tub, sauna and cold plunge along with a fire pit and unobstructed views of Mount Currie. Located 20 minutes from Pemberton and Joffre Lakes & 45 minutes from Whistler Blackcomb. We live 150 mts from the cabin and provide as much or little service as you desire. We offer free farm tours to all guests to get up close with animals and learn about our farm.

The Poolside Suite, which is on the lower floor of the main house, where we live, is very spacious and has its own private entrance, patio, and secluded terrace leading to the pool area. The pool area is shared with the Carriage House, also listed on this site number 151470 and occasionally no more than 2 Airstream guests. We have a seasonally heated saltwater pool and lawned area with a badminton/volleyball net, both shared with the Carriage House also listed on this site. The price is based on number of guests. The suite has one queen bedroom, day bed for 2nd guest situated in a separate room and 2nd bedroom has two twin beds available to 3rd and 4th. Should the second guest wish to use the second bedroom then we do charge extra, but with our day bed in a separate room, it should not be necessary. The kitchen has a microwave, countertop convection oven, two-plate hob, breakfast bar, fridge and freezer, crockery, coffee maker, and kettle, where you can enjoy preparing a meal whilst keeping your eye on your little ones, watching TV or socializing with your accompanying guests. The pool table is an extra bonus available to those guests with no accompanying children.We have a barbecue on the private patio, pictures of all can be viewed under photos. I adore gardening so there is an abundance of hanging baskets and climbing plants on the terrace to be enjoyed including grapevines. Self-serve backcountry Hut style with 6 beds, propane lights/stove/oven, dishes, water tap & filter. No indoor plumbing or electricity. Separate sauna/shower building and separate outhouse. Sauna is additional fee of $20/group/night. Great place to get away from town and spend time in the outdoors...Winter (nov-may): backcountry skiing, xcountry skiing & snowshoeing nearby. Spring-Fall: May-Oct: Low elevation hiking & bike trails near the cabin. High elevation hikes and bike rides can be accessed by driving 3-8km up roads. Custodian cabin located nearby with internet access available for additional fee. Standard backcountry hut etiquette is expected: take home all of your garbage, compost, recylcing. Clean the cabin and sauna. Leave cabin better than you found it for next guests! Optional additional cleaning fee is possible on request. Bring your own sleeping bag or sheets to keep rates low.If you pay $25/person/night you can expect you sleep in a dorm setting, occasionally another group might book beds at the same time and share the cabin. OR contact us if you prefer to book the entire cabin. Rates for entire cabin vary from $55-$150/night depending if there are 2-8 people and how many nights. weeknights vs weekends etc. Please do not hesitate to ask for rates for your group size & dates.
