No boat licence required; we provide you with a detailed tutorial of how to operate the pleasurecraft safely and provide a temporary boat licence valid for the duration of your rental. Lifejackets and safety equipment are all included in your rental, as well as a tow rope when renting any form of tow equipment. Our trained staff will gladly answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the lake, places to go, or how to tow a person. The Nechako White Sturgeon Conservation Centre hatchery program is dedicated to maintaining genetic diversity and conserving the population of the Nechako White Sturgeon. The hatchery is used to rear sturgeon eggs into one-year old sturgeon for release into the river. Research projects and programs also run out of the hatchery. Visitor Hours: Tours currently available by appointment only. As of Thursday April 24, tours will be available at 2pm daily (including weekends). Specific tour time requests are still available and approved based on operations and staff availability.
