Guests will watch clips of productions filmed at the places they visit.

Grizzly Bears, return each August for the salmon run in Toba Inlet. A cycle that has taken place for a millennial on the traditional territory of the Klahoose First Nation. Against a breathtaking backdrop and from viewing platforms, we have optimal sight lines to view the bears in their natural habitat. Tours led by Klahoose guides and partners from Campbell River from late August to mid-October.

We tell great stories. We can explain how Creston got its wacky time zone. We can tell you about the steamship that became a tractor (sort of), the first airplane to land in Creston, and the teacher who refused to be fired. Speaking of "great" stories, there's "The Great Railway Race" and the "Great Creston Bank Robbery." And have you heard the one about the imaginary student in Grade Thirteen? Really, we're not making this up. Why would we? Truth is so much better than fiction. We can even help you tell the greatest story of all: your own. So come on in. The BC Wine Information Centre is a wine store with a difference. We love BC wine because it is our home. Our staff have years of intimate wine knowledge that can only come from living in wine country. We commute past vineyards daily and have casual conversations with winemakers weekly when they deliver their wines or shop in our store. We stock over 900 wines from more than 150 BC wineries. Our wine fridge is stocked with ready-chilled bottles of white, rosé, and sparkling wine and The Icon Room features only the most exclusive wines produced in BC. In addition, we have a wide variety of wine accessories, local gourmet food products, gift items, and books about food and wine. We can produce custom gift-baskets or select from ready-made baskets that are always on display. You can join our Wine Club and receive regular shipments of the wines that caught out attention. We can also arrange worry-free shipping of your wine collection home from your touring experiences in the Okanagan.
