Pynelogs Cultural Centre & Art Gallery is the cultural hub for the Columbia Valley. We feature visual art shows, concerts, art workshops, an indie film-series, outdoor music festival, and anything else artsy! Pynelogs is over a century old, located on the shores of Lake Windermere, in the heart of Invermere. Its a quaint building with a long history. Cafe Allium is also part of our creative ambience, serving up a hearty healthy fare of food, and when possible, locally sourced.

Great Bear Lodge offers grizzly bear tours from May to October at a floating lodge in the Great Bear Rainforest. With no other operators in the river system and a maximum of 18 guests, people can feel truly immersed in nature. Tours start with a spectacular seaplane flight from Port Hardy on northern Vancouver Island, and include accommodation, wilderness-gourmet food and bear viewing. Christina Lake has a reputation of being one of the warmest lakes in all of Canada and is very popular with families. With its 300 metres of fine sandy beach, people flock to this swimming destination in the summer months. There is no overnight camping at this location. The closest provincial park campground with overnight accommodation is Gladstone (Texas Creek campground), 10 km east of Christina Lake. Nearby provincial campgrounds that should be able to accommodate last-minute campers in July and August include Boundary Creek, Jewel Lake, and Nancy Greene.

Skeena Cat Skiing is northern B.C.'s only cat ski destination. Skeena's pristine location, unique camp set up and exceptional service delivers not only fantastic cat skiing but an entire wilderness experience. Skeena's Base Camp utilizes quonset style tents to house their guests. The double occupancy bedroom tents are insulated, have a floor, are heated and have electricity. The tents are furnished with real mattresses, wool comforters, comfy pillows and Skeena supplies towels as well as organic shampoo and conditioner. The "common" tent contains the kitchen, dining area and lounge. Moist Pacific air colliding with the cold, dry air from the interior creates the huge dumps of perfect powder snow that Skeena is famous for!!

Located 96 kms north of Fort Nelson, Tetsa River Regional Park offers 25 private, unserviced forested camp sites, day use area with picnic shelter and a children's playground. Foot access to the beautiful Tetsa River provides an opportunity for fly or rod fishing and wildlife viewing. Camp fees include firewood and are $20 per night, and by reservation only. Open May-September annually. Please note that picnic shelter and playground are closed under COVID-19 measures.

Cedar Ridge Golf course offers an excellent golf experience by providing guests with an 18-hole Par 3 golf course that can be enjoyed in less time than a full size course while still providing challenges to the practiced golfer and attainable successes to the beginner. There is also a log constructed driving range with heated stalls allowing for year-round practice.
