Let us help you make the most of your trip to Haida Gwaii! We are located inside the Sandspit Airport Terminal with our hours changing seasonally. Sandspit/K'il Kun, is the southernmost community on Haida Gwaii, and the only community on Moresby Island. We are the last stop and gateway to Gwaii Haanas. Our community's many nearby bays and trails offer exiting places to explore coastal life and set up a base for your next adventure. Come in and ask us for a community trail guide map or other local information. We also pride ourselves on our gift shop which is a beautiful space to browse while you wait for your flight, where you will find books, souvenirs, and local art before you leave the islands. Bike rentals available. The Sandspit Visitor Centre is usually opened on flight days, around plane times. Please note the Sandspit Visitor Centre is sometimes closed at short notice due to staffing shortage. The Centre is also usually closed if a flight is cancelled.

Kalala Organic Estate Winery is located on the Upper Bench of beautiful West Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley. Started by Karnail Singh Sidhu and family, Kalala has been making award winning, reasonably priced wines since July 2006. The vineyards were deemed certified organic in September 2010. Our philosophy is to allow the varietal characteristics and terroir to be truly expressed and only enhanced by minimal handling during winemaking. We tell stories of our rich Canadian aviation history, stories people want to hear and stories people want told. Our hangar is packed with interesting displays and models, fascinating memorabilia and more. Our Museum is a very hands-on facility. Many of our aircraft can be touched, gently. Children can discover aircraft made not only from aluminum, but also from wood and fabric. Weather permitting, several aircraft are open for sitting and dreaming by kids (of all ages). Photo op!
