The Adventure Domes consist of four unique dome cottages located in the heart of the West Kootenay, a short walk from the shores of pristine Slocan Lake. Each unit is self-contained, has relaxing curved interior spaces, a boutique decor and its own patio area with landscaped gardens. Set in the village of New Denver, the Domes are within walking distance of all village amenities: the network of hiking and cycling trails, kayak and board rentals, cafes, boutiques, galleries, museums and food stores. The property has beautiful views of the Valhalla and Selkirk Mountain Ranges; is central to three provincial parks and is located on two scenic loop drives. Yellowhead Helicopters since 1975 has provided helicopter services to the public, industry and government from bases located throughout northern BC. Our operations centre is located in Prince George coordinates the fleet from bases along Yellowhead Highway 16 from Terrace to Valemount, and north to Stewart, Fort St John and more. Situated in Jim Hadgkiss Park, overlooking the Fraser River, the museum collects, preserves, and shares the culture and stories of historic Maple Ridge. Operated by the Maple Ridge Historical Society, the Maple Ridge Museum and Haney House Museum are free community museums located in historically significant buildings in the old district of Haney.
