In the world of heli-skiing, the northern Cariboo Mountains and the Canadian Rockies are legendary. Crescent Spur fills a unique niche in the heli-skiing market by limiting occupancy to a maximum of 20 guests per week. That leaves over 250 runs in 1,500 square miles of terrain for a maximum of 20 skiers! Farmstrong Cider Company is a family based business in the Okanagan Valley making small batch craft cider on a heritage farm established in 1896. We do not take reservations, first come, first served. We have a full lunch and dinner menu with vegan & gluten free options. We have a large parking lot and are RV friendly. We are family friendly. We do request that parents have their children seated with them and all times. As Farmstrong is a working farm children should not be unattended inside or outside for any reason. For their safety they need to be with their parents at all times. Our historic barn does not have AC or heating so please dress for the weather of the day of your visit. We are a seasonal business so please check our website for updated times of operation.

Our trails are of varying degrees of difficulty and length to accommodate all levels of nordic skiers, for classic and skate techniques. Open from mid May until mid October with packages starting on any day of the week.

Averill Creek is a low intervention winery on Vancouver Island. Our aim is to produce honest wines that reflect our site and the vintage, but that first and foremost give pleasure. By intervening less, we are able to provide a clear segue from vineyard to glass.
