The Barn building on our property was left empty at the end of our horses lives. Not wanting to have the building unused, we eventually decided to expand our home-based art and photography business which had been housed for years in our much smaller studio into this great new space. After months of renovations ART IN THE BARN GALLERY was born. We went on, to further renovate space to house Gabriels full-service, in-house Photography Studio and a full service on site framing shop. We both have a long history of working in Victoria as well as years of experience in our professions and work spanning Canada and other countries. It is fabulous to have such a wonderful place to showcase our work. While we predominantly display our own art and photography, we also occasionally host other talented people with locally made artwork for display and sale which includes pottery, jewelry. A must see. Tofino Surf Adventures offers surf lessons and surf guiding for all ages and experience levels. We have group and private lesson options available. With Tofino Surf Adventures, you get the most time spent in the water.

The North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre is located in a park-like setting with a peaceful rustic atmosphere. When visiting the centre you will be able to view eagles, several species of owls, falcons, hawks, ravens, and black bears. Rehabilitating eagles can be viewed through one way glass in the largest flight enclosure of its kind in Canada. The Centre's mandate is the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned native wildlife, with a focus on raptors and black bears. GUIDED TOURS: are available for groups of 15 or more. HOURS OF OPERATION: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 7 days a week. ENTRANCE FEES: $15.00.00 adults, $6.00 children aged 3-12, plus applicable taxes.

The Salish Sea Market is an exclusive, curated collection of art from the Pacific northwest a platform for the creative expression of emerging artists, and those of international acclaim, who solely create their work insight of the celebrated Salish Sea.

The Ladysmith Gallery hosts two art shows a month that are open to the public - a monthly member art show featuring a variety of artworks around a different theme from Vancouver Island and Gulf Island artists; followed by a 10 day guest artist exhibition. The location also features a curated gallery boutique shop with smaller artworks from over 50 artists. The boutique holds seasonal offerings as well. Other events that take place at the Ladysmith Gallery are art pop-ups with interactive art experiences, prestigious art exhibitions such as the biennial Fine Arts Show and late night shopping opportunities during the December season. Located in the heart of downtown Ladysmith, the Ladysmith Gallery is seconds away from local shopping and restaurants. A not for profit organization under the Arts Council of Ladysmith, it has a strong reputation for the largest and top quality of art from West Coast artists for over 20 years.

We are a 100% certified organic cidery located on the beautiful Salt Spring Island. We bought our property in 2011 and became certified organic shortly after in 2013. Currently, the ingredients in the majority of our products are grown on property using our over 3,500 apple trees consisting of over 450 varieties. What we dont source from our orchard, we get from other farms on Salt Spring Island. We mainly focus on dry cider as we feel it best captures the complexity and taste of our apples, however with our incredible range of 16 ciders, we have something for everyone. If our ciders didnt catch your attention, the view from our tasting room and orchard sure will! We sit on over 3 acres of land with an unbelievable view of the water and mountains. OPEN May thru September each year - The Gardens on Anderton is a little drop of heaven located in Comox, BC. Come for a stroll, picnic, or to see what's blooming. Or become a member and take advantage of all The Gardens have to offer including interactive gardening activities and hands-on gardening, social gatherings, and the opportunity to contribute to something special while enjoying the outdoors in our beautiful 2-acre surroundings. We are fully accessible and child friendly. The Gardens on Anderton is where growth happens, so come on by. Entry for visitors is by donation.

NDO can provide equipment and a guide to help you enjoy whatever underwater experience you desire. From shore snorkel trips and scuba diving to boat charters to go snorkeling with the seals or scuba diving, there is something for everyone. The Shepherd is our 33ft aluminum dive boat that can take you to some great dive spots including walls, reefs, and artificial reefs or wrecks. She has a large covered deck, storage space below the benches and over head nets for dry storage, an awesome dive ladder, and a marine head.

Kayaking is the best way to see Victoria. We specialize in safe, fun and educational kayak tours of Victoria's Harbour and waterfront. Our floating location at Fisherman's Wharf is a 10 minute walk from the cruise ship terminal and 20 minutes from downtown on the scenic boardwalk. We are the closest kayak shop to the Juan de Fuca straight, so when conditions allow, we will paddle along the coast to the kelp forests and an island the harbour seals frequent. Along the way we may see different shore birds like eagles, osprey, oystercatchers, cormorants, and the great blue heron. Starfish, jelly fish and kelp crabs are usually hiding just below the surface. Kayaking is easy and we make it easier by offering paddling jackets, gloves and a bottle of water. Plus on our kayak launch you won't even get your feet wet!
