We’re pleased to welcome back 70% of our customers as returnees each year. We have five cottages with wharfage.

Our Escape Room is a type of physical and intellectual adventure game in which a team of players are locked in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within a set time limit. We have 20 acres of beautiful land to explore! Our 10 Glamping tents are huge and spacious. They are decorated to suit the most discerning of tastes. Outfitted with Queen size beds and a multitude of cots and floor mattresses to accommodate even the biggest of groups. We have a big campfire and multiple places to picnic and share a meal with your family and friends. Hit up our pens and spend some time with our Jersey calf Skim, Flemish giant rabbit (Bad), our Kunekune pig (Trippie Redd), Nubian buckling Noodles, and 2 billy goats (Silly and Billy). You could also cozy on down by the fire at night and enjoy a drink... or a puff! Listen to some music and have a good old time. Explore the waters and shoreline surrounding Alder Bay on a three and a half hour guided kayak tour. Using stable double kayaks, these kayak tours are suitable for everyone even those with no prior kayaking experience. As we quietly kayak along the shore we often see bald eagles dotting the trees and curious harbour seals popping their heads above the water as we pass.

Takaya Tours offers interpretive canoe and kayak tours in Burrard Inlet that highlight the First Nation culture of the area. Situated in Penticton, at the gateway to the picturesque Naramata Bench, Upper Bench offers a unique experience to locals and visitors by offering pairings of their two passions: award winning wine and artisan cheese. Upper Bench believes great wine is made in the vineyard and farms sustainably, without the use of chemicals or pesticides. Upper Bench produces big bold reds and crisp dry whites. All of Upper Bench's wines come from the mature vines on our unique seven-acre vineyard and a select few other vineyards along the Naramata Bench. Upper Bench is also a CFIA registered creamery, using locally sourced, 100% pasteurized Canadian cows milk. All of our cheese are gluten and additive free, and we maintain our Safe Food for Canadians License. We produce washed, bloomy, natural rinds, lactic, and blue cheese, which are purposefully crafted to pair with our wines.
