Valkyr Adventures is an adventure tourism company and has been offering multi-day ski touring and alpine hiking vacations based out of our backcountry lodges in British Columbia since 2005. Our 3 hand-crafted lodges provide unique access to a vast tract of pristine alpine terrain. Transportation to our lodges is by helicopter from Burton BC. The Self-Realization SevaLight Centre offers a peaceful environment in which to unwind and relax. Rooms are comfortable, private and well suited for the lone traveler, couples or a family. Bluefin Fishing Adventures offers superb year-round fishing situated in a temperate rainforest on the southwest tip of Vancouver Island.Sooke has been a year-round fishing destination for generations. Large runs of salmon migrate annually past the West Coast of Vancouver Island, feeding and bulking up before heading for their spawning grounds.Sooke's mild climate allows for year-round fishing. May through September you can fish for hard fighting Chinooks 5 to 50 pounds - delicious Sockeye 5 to 12 pounds, energetic Coho 5 to 24 pounds, scrappy Pinks 5 to 8 and hard fighting Chums 6 to 20 pounds July through October - yummy Winter Chinooks 5 to 20 pounds November into March.
