We have created a place unlike any other, steeped in history and the stories of people once brought by rail, now inspired by a passion for nature, this is a place to unplug and reconnect. To this end, we offer a comprehensive event experience, with everything from canoeing to yoga to guided activities all available in one extraordinary setting. Discover nature, not the resort - Nature PhotoHikes takes you off the beaten path through hiking and photography lessons. We guarantee a fun and safe experience while connecting you with other nature and photography enthusiasts. As our guest, you believe in buying experiences (not things) and taking pictures (not souvenirs)! Our hikes are based on physical ability, from half day easy walks to multiple day camping trips in Vancouver, BC and the Rockies, AB. Everyone of varying skills is welcome to attend, whether you carry a DSLR or iPhone. Our small groups allow for one-on-one, customized, instructions as well as keen attention to your hiking experience. Our photographer and guide is an avid traveler, photographer and hiker. Spending over a decade each in British Columbia and Alberta, he has organized hikes for 15+ years for locals and visitors. He has also traveled to 56 countries in 6 continents. He loves to share his passion for travel, the outdoors and photography with everyone!

The Blue Grouse Country Inn, surrounded by park lands invites you to put the world behind you while discovering the wilderness of Wells Gray Park. Well appointed rooms with modern amenities are offered in a peaceful quiet setting. A guest kitchen and an outdoor BBQ are provided for preparing your own meals. A Golden Mile BnB Vacation Suite overlooks the town of Oliver, Vineyards & Orchards. The Seaglass Suite boasts a scenic backyard with outdoor seating for our Guests to enjoy. Hastings House Country House Hotel is a boutique seaside resort, spa and gourmet restaurant on Salt Spring Island in British Columbia, Canada. The Sussex-style Manor House and eighteen unique guest rooms and suites, each with its own décor and history, are situated amid twenty-two acres of abundant gardens and grounds. All stays include a fresh cut flower bouquet from our gardens upon arrival, fresh house-made muffins delivered each morning, a full, made-to-order breakfast in the gourmet dining room from 8:00 to 10:00am, and complimentary shuttle service upon arrival and departure. Panorama Vacation Retreat at Horsethief Lodge, nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, is a favorite among visitors. Any time of the year, the resort's heated Jacuzzis, pools, saunas, and the natural Hot Springs are a respite after a day of outdoor adventure skiing, snowmobiling or exploring the landscape on ATVs. The Princeton Visitor Centre is located right in downtown Princeton and is an easy walk to restaurants and stores. We have a large parking lot with easy access for RVs, a wide variety of brochures that cover most places in BC, picnic tables, and a filtered water station. We sell local merchandise and nature books. We have maps to show where you can pan for gold in the Rivers and keep the gold!

Located at the entrance to Parksville, the Parksville Visitor Centre is conveniently located just off Highway 19A (Exit #46), between the Parksville Museum and the Peace Park. Our courteous and knowledgeable staff provide professional visitor counselling, customized itinerary planning, accommodation and activity reservations, helpful travel information including transportation and community information on all areas of British Columbia. The Visitor Centre is accessible. Public washrooms are available during our business hours.

We are a Vancouver Island Fishing Lodge located in Quatsino on the North West Coast. We target Chinook, Halibut, Ling Cod, Coho and Tuna. Riverbend RV Resort & Cottages, situated on 16 Acres of wooded parkland on the Englishman River with one of the nicest sandy beaches on the river.Just off highway, minutes from Parksville, beaches, golf, spas, restaurants and shopping. This seasonal government-run campground on the ocean offers affordable RV and tent camping in nature with fabulous panoramic seascape views. It features a long sandy beach, bird watching, nature events, a variety of walking trails, including a user-friendly loop trail. It is close to the ferry, airport, downtown Victoria and the Lochside Regional Trail. The campground has 18 beach front RV sites, 5 treed tent trailer sites and 24 treed tent sites, and all campsites are self-contained.
