Vanderhoof Tourism and Cultural Centre
The Vanderhoof Tourism and Cultural Centre opened its doors on June 30, 2022 and is located on the corner of Highway 16 and Pine Street on the traditional territory of Saikuz First Nation. Stop in to pick up some brochures, check out some local art, and chat with one of the friendly Visitor Services Specialists about the exciting things you can do in Vanderhoof. The Vanderhoof Community Museum is also located on these grounds. We encourage you to take a tour through our collection of six historic buildings at your own pace or with a guide. Admission is by donation and includes a large RV parking lot, free WIFI, wheelchair accessible picnic tables and a 1.5km interpretive walking trail. We hope to see you soon!
Dreamcatcher Meadows
Pemberton Tourism suggests visitors drive or do a cycling tour up Pemberton Meadows Road to enjoy this famous horse farm and animal rescue. Guaranteed unforgettable photo opportunities: panorama of the Coastal Mountains; wildflower and alfalfa valley meadows; the bordering Lilloet River where you may also choose to take a canoe trip. The farm tour includes the world famous Hanoverian horse stars and an unforgettable educational experience learning how embryos are transferred from the champion mares rescued horses that have been given a new life as birth mothers to Dreamcatcher Meadows' next stars.
